The nylon tape becomes laminated to the silicone, creating a much higher surface contact area with EPDM insulation. This lamination strengthens the jacket, making it significantly less likely to separate from the insulation.

    1.    Kevlar® Core: An inner core of flexible Kevlar® fibre for unmatched durability.

    2.    Ferrite Coating: A ferrite base coating, tightly wound with Monel-type stainless steel wire,                 surrounded by a conductive acrylic latex coating to retain the winding during stripping and reinforce the core.

    3.    EPDM Insulation: Offers excellent dielectric strength and withstands high temperatures.

    4.    Nylon Tape Separator: Laminated to the silicone to support Performa’s distinctive, extra-thick outer silicone jacket.
